As a Product Owner supporting Agile squads, the candidate will work closely with the various groups within the different business areas (sales, product, operations, etc.) and across Wealth Management to manage initiatives throughout the program development life cycle. The role is within Wealth Management in the Traditional Investment Products (TIPS) Platform Team supporting products such as mutual funds, 529 plans and Unit Investment Trusts. The TIPS Platforms Team is responsible for leading strategic initiatives as well as application reengineering efforts for various Wealth Management products with the ultimate goal of improving the financial advisor/client experience and increasing operational efficiency. Examples of key initiatives include digitizing processes that were historically manual and developing technology to drive operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant finance industry experience
• Experience with Mutual Fund and/or 529 trading
• Familiarity with Agile Methodology in Product Owner or similar role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with a particular strength in Microsoft Excel is required

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $85,000 and $140,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
