Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Product Owner for intraday liquidity to join a Treasury Transformation initiative in a hybrid-capable environment. The role requires translating complex business and data requirements into prioritized products and actionable deliverables, working with technology, data engineering, operations, and risk teams.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in Product Ownership, Business Analysis, Data Analysis, and Project/Program Management, and can communicate effectively

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Finance, Product Ownership, Business Analysis, Data Analysis, Program Management, or related discipline.
• Demonstrated Agile delivery experience.
• Product Owner or Business Analyst experience with ownership of requirements, priorities, backlog, or delivery.
• Strong data analysis and data manipulation skills.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and/or Python.
• Project or Program Management experience.

Responsibilities

• Own product priorities, roadmap development, and backlog management.
• Define business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and priorities.
• Lead Agile delivery activities and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Facilitate working sessions with business, technology, data engineering, operations, and risk stakeholders.
• Track milestones, dependencies, risks, decisions, and delivery progress.
• Use SQL, Python, and other data tools to query, manipulate, analyze, and validate data.
• Investigate business questions and validate solutions through data analysis.
• Support improvements to intraday liquidity monitoring, analytics, controls, and reporting.
• Analyze balances, payment activity, and related liquidity data.
• Partner with application developers and data engineers from requirements through testing and implementation.
• Translate complex technical and data topics into concise updates for senior leadership.
• Identify delivery issues, make recommendations, and drive resolution.
• Operate independently and make decisions in an environment with ambiguity and competing priorities.

Work Arrangement:

• Charlotte: Hybrid, 3 days onsite per week
• New York: Hybrid, 1 day onsite per week

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner – Intraday Liquidity to support technology and data capabilities within a Treasury Transformation organization.

This role sits at the intersection of Treasury, Technology, Data Engineering, Operations, and Risk, translating complex business and data requirements into prioritized products, actionable requirements, and successful delivery.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on, self-starting professional who combines Product Ownership, Business Analysis, Data Analysis, and Project/Program Management experience. You will work with both detailed data and senior stakeholders, turning complex findings and delivery challenges into clear decisions and outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Finance, Product Ownership, Business Analysis, Data Analysis, Program Management, or a related discipline

• Product Owner or Business Analyst experience with ownership of requirements, priorities, backlog, or delivery
• Strong data analysis and data manipulation skills
• Hands-on experience with SQL and/or Python
• Project or Program Management experience
• Ability to work effectively with technology, data, business, and senior leadership teams
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive work independently
• Experience working in a large financial services or banking organization preferred
