Job description

Description

Love a big, complex problem with a lot of moving parts? Same! We’re looking for a Product Owner who thinks strategically, builds trust across a matrixed organization, and can turn a tangle of interdependent requirements into a sequenced, shippable roadmap.

You’ll join Independent Agent Distribution Solutions within the Small Commercial Quote Experience group, where we’re working cross-functionally to shape eCLIQ 2.0 into the quoting platform Independent Agents go to first. As a Product Owner, you’ll shape how agents efficiently move through quotes, optimizing for ease, transparency, and speed.

You’ll own quote navigation and transparency across the IA Distribution eCLIQ 2.0 portfolio, setting the roadmap to incrementally enhance quoting and navigation modernization. We are looking for a visionary who prioritizes near-term wins while going deep to build the case and dependency map for the full vision. You’ll balance agent research and quote analytics against business objectives, make the trade-offs visible to leadership and keep moving on near‑term wins along the way.

This is a grade range posting: Grade 17/18 (PO-II/PO-III). Your background and qualifications will be evaluated against the skills and experience required for the position.

Key responsibilities
  • Define and communicate the vision and roadmap for small commercial quote navigation and transparency, aligned to IA Distribution's eCLIQ 2.0 portfolio and organizational priorities.
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog; write clear, testable user stories and acceptance criteria that let engineering deliver agent value every PI.
  • Translate agent friction and business objectives into sequenced work, focusing the squad on the capabilities that most reduce rework, clicks and abandonment.
  • Partner with Product, Product Tech, UX and Underwriting Strategy to strategically sequence work and impact launches.

  • Stakeholder management: You are a strong storyteller adept at influencing broad groups of stakeholders, and a transparent communicator who keeps partners informed before trade‑offs become surprises.
Qualifications
  • Advanced knowledge of Agile development methodologies as typically acquired through a Bachelors’ degree in relevant field (business, computer science, humanities etc.), 7 years in business, technology, or consulting with 5 to 7 years direct experience with agile teams
  • Master's degree preferred
