Responsibilities

  • Requirement Gathering: elicit and document product requirements and user stories from stakeholders.
  • Product Roadmap: define and maintain the roadmap aligned with goals and customer needs.
  • Agile Development: facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, and prioritization.
  • UX and User Research: advocate user-centric design and analyze feedback for improvements.
  • Product Documentation: create functional specs, guides, and release notes.
  • Stakeholder Management: align priorities across dev, QA, design, and marketing.
  • Quality Assurance: work with QA to define acceptance criteria and UAT.
  • Sales & Marketing: support commercialization to present the product effectively.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Product Owner/Business Analyst to join our Software Development team. In this role, you will be responsible for translating business requirements into clear product specifications, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring successful product delivery. As the bridge between business and technology, you will play a critical role in driving the product roadmap, managing priorities, and delivering exceptional products that meet our customers' needs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, exceptional communication skills, and a solid understanding of Agile – Scrum methodologies.



  • Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users, customers, and development teams, to elicit and document product requirements and user stories.

  • Product Roadmap: Work closely with the product management team to define and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.

  • Agile Development: Facilitate Agile development processes, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and prioritization, to ensure efficient delivery of high-quality products.

  • User Experience (UX): Advocate for a user-centered approach, conducting user research, analyzing user feedback, and contributing to the design and optimization of user interfaces.

  • Product Documentation: Create comprehensive product documentation, including functional specifications, user guides, and release notes, to support development, QA, and customer success teams.

  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, design, and marketing, to align priorities, manage expectations, and drive successful product outcomes.

  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the QA team to define acceptance criteria, conduct user acceptance testing, and ensure the delivery of high-quality products that meet customer expectations.

  • Sales and Marketing: Lead and support by working hand and glove with business development, sales, marketing, and all commercialization efforts to ensure the product is presented pristine to the public and private sectors in rapid development and deployment environments.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement, propose and implement solutions, and contribute to enhancing the overall product development lifecycle.

Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in an Agile environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and translate them into actionable requirements.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and build consensus.

  • Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience with Agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello).

  • Familiarity with UX principles, wireframing tools, and usability testing is a plus.

  • Knowledge of software development processes, SDLC, and experience working closely with development teams.

  • Detail-oriented mindset, with a focus on delivering high-quality products within time and budget constraints.

  • Must have expert level experience with content design and layout, graphics, and engineering concepts.
