Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
• Five years or more of experience working as a Product Owner or Business Analyst.
• Experience building and managing product backlog.
• Experience in soliciting and drafting product requirements.
• Proficiency in requirements definition, solution design, and user experience disciplines.
• Experience with the SDLC methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization.
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team and time management skills.
• Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take.

THE POSITION

The Product Owner has the responsibility for working with the Product Management team to formulate and understand product vision and strategy and to translate that vision to stakeholders by creating, prioritizing, managing, and executing on the product backlog. The Product Owner will collect, analyze, and maintain business and functional requirements for all development efforts, and create actionable user stories for the development team to execute. Other responsibilities: Decompose, refine, and document requirements using appropriate graphical and textual techniques, including use cases, user stories, diagrams, process models, and functional specifications.
