Job summary

United Talent Staffing is seeking two Merchandisers to stock and maintain products in grocery stores throughout the Nashville area. Pay: $17.00 per hour, plus a gas allowance based on the assigned territory. Schedule: Day shift.

Territories: within approximately 40 miles of downtown Birmingham. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds; travel within the territory is required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.
• Smartphone with internet access.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, and lift boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to speak and understand English.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves and arrange products neatly in store aisles.
• Rotate products using first-in, first-out practices.
• Build promotional displays, end caps, and seasonal arrangements.
• Update price tags, labels, and promotional signage.
• Remove expired, spoiled, or damaged products.
• Communicate with store personnel about promotions and assigned work.
• Complete assignments independently and as part of a team.
