Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a Technical Business Analyst / Product Manager to work with developers, project managers and clients to translate business requirements into software solutions with high customer satisfaction and adoption.

You will gather requirements, design solutions, train users and support deployment across multiple client engagements, leveraging Sage Intacct and related ERP tools, in a remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in accounting, MIS or computer science.
• Five or more years' experience consulting and implementing Sage Intacct, ERP/financial apps, or other SaaS solutions.
• Experience communicating with customers, end users and technical staff on system issues.
• Ability to deploy advanced business analytics to translate requirements into deliverable solutions.
• Programming/coding experience a plus to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros) is a plus.
• Strong leadership, project management, organizational and analytical skills.
• Microsoft Office suite skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing multiple customers to design and support software solutions resulting in high customer satisfaction and successful customer adoption.
• Gathering requirements with key client stakeholders, define requirements, design solutions, communicate with development team, test units and integrations, train, and support transition to the professional services team.
• Maintaining deep knowledge of Sage Intacct software including core and advanced modules and staying current with features and enhancements.
• Defining and supporting the roll-out of solutions that integrate with Sage Intacct based on customer processes and industry best practices.
• Developing and communicating project plans while supporting on-time delivery and budget execution.
• Conducting training for customer end-users at all levels of the organization and relating system functionality to customer business requirements.
• Documenting customer requirements into software solutions and business processes using BT's best practices.
• Responding to customer technical support issues related to system implementation of newly developed solutions.
• Collaborating with Professional Services, Sales, Support, Marketing and Customer Success for coordinated project execution.

• Ability to deploy advanced business analytics skills solving complex problems and interpreting customer requirements into deliverable solutions
• Programming/coding experience a nice-to-have for translating business requirements into technical solutions and being able to "speak the language" of technology
• Advanced proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, macros, etc.) is a nice-to-have for efficient data mapping, integration, and migration of customer data
