Kamino in New York City is seeking a Product Marketing Lead to own positioning and go-to-market for institutional and direct financial products. You’ll work directly with the CEO and cross-functional teams to drive research, messaging, content, and launches that turn interest into active, retained use.
This senior IC role focuses on building differentiated propositions, enabling commercial teams, and measuring impact across activation, retention, and partnerships, with four days in the office
Kamino's mission is to create liquidity and utility for every asset. We want the world's best investments to be available through the financial platforms people already trust, and we want investors to be able to borrow against what they own when they need liquidity, instead of having to sell.
Today, the most valuable assets in the world are often the least useful to own. Trillions of dollars sit in private markets, behind high minimums and holding periods that can run for years. Tokenization is starting to move these assets onto shared, programmable infrastructure, but putting an asset onchain is only the first step. To be useful, it still needs distribution, compliance, servicing, credit and liquidity.
Kamino already runs the credit and liquidity engine at scale. It is the largest credit protocol on Solana and the largest credit platform for real-world assets onchain, with more than $650 billion in cumulative transaction volume and more than $20 billion in loans originated.
Now we are building the rest of that system for institutions. Kamino recently named Yieldstreet co-founder Michael Weisz as CEO and is building a new HQ in New York, alongside the asset managers and financial platforms that will shape this market. Almost none of that market exists yet, and we intend to build it.
Own product positioning, launches, and adoption.
Kamino is hiring a Product Marketing Lead to own how our products are positioned, brought to market and adopted. Your remit spans direct financial products, institutional infrastructure and experiences distributed through partners, with institutional and partner-distributed products the immediate priority.
This is a senior individual-contributor role. You will own product marketing priorities and personally deliver the research, messaging, content and launches that bring them to life. You will define why customers and partners choose Kamino, equip commercial teams to take that proposition to market, and work with Product and Design to turn interest into active, retained use.
You will work directly with the CEO and spend much of your time with Product, Design, and Business Development. Engineering, Risk, and Legal will be important partners when the work requires them. You will also spend meaningful time with the customers and partners using Kamino.
This is a hands-on role with ownership from customer research and writing through GTM and lifecycle programs, rather than responsibility for managing a department, hiring a team or owning a departmental budget.
This is a full-time role based in New York City. We work together in the office four days per week. Kamino may provide immigration sponsorship for an exceptional candidate who meets the experience bar and can work from New York.
The expected annual base salary range for this role is USD $160,000-$200,000. Kamino expects to offer a competitive package consisting of base salary, a performance-based bonus and long-term KMNO participation.
Final terms will reflect the candidate’s relevant experience, skills and agreed scope of the role.
Benefits and applicable employment terms will be documented as part of the formal offer.
