Google in San Francisco is seeking a Product Manager to guide Wallet on wearables and Access Control from concept to launch. You will connect the technical and business worlds, break down complex problems, and drive end-to-end product development across devices.

The role focuses on digitizing credentials, enabling secure and seamless experiences for users across wearables, phones, and connected ecosystems while collaborating with engineers, designers, and partners.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).
  • 1 year of experience as a product manager for consumer hardware or wearables.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Wearables engineers to innovate across Wallet on smartwatches and fitness trackers.
  • Lead product initiatives to make tapping from the wrist faster and more delightful than tapping via phone, leverage AI to make the Wallet on wearables experience more intuitive.
  • Drive the expansion of Google Wallet across the wearables ecosystem to new users and devices.
  • Focus on digitizing physical security credentials to enable access across applications like corporate badges, campus IDs, residential real estate, and hotel keys on both phone and wearable devices.
  • Help modernize and scale our access infrastructure, innovate user onboarding, and expand usage of open industry standards for physical access like Aliro.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
