User Trust is central to the security, reliability, and integrity of Betterment's financial products and the customers who depend on them. We design risk and identity measures, determine when and how to introduce controls in key customer journeys (signup, login, funding, withdrawals), and build the tooling that helps Customer Experience and Operations teams keep 1M+ customers safe while without compromising the quality of their investing and cash experience.
As the Product Manager for User Trust, you'll own the roadmap that ties our controls and tooling together, define how we assess risk and introduce (or remove) verification interventions across the customer journey, and set clear measures of impact across risk reduction, customer experience, and regulatory expectations.
You’ll navigate multiple concurrent projects from definition through launch, moving fluidly between strategy and implementation details — working closely with Engineering, Operations, Security, Compliance, Legal, CX, and other product teams to make our platform more resilient and trustworthy over time.
