Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to join our dynamic Product team at M-Tech Systems. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in driving the success of our products. You’ll own the end-to-end lifecycle of your product line, from discovery to delivery, ensuring that each feature or solution aligns with customer needs and business goals. This role requires a strategic thinker with a customer-first mindset who can collaborate across departments, lead product development efforts, and deliver measurable outcomes.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Product Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with company objectives, industry trends, and producer needs.

Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop 2–3 Product Owners, ensuring they are equipped to deliver high-quality user stories, prioritize effectively, and meet delivery commitments.

Industry Expertise: Apply deep knowledge of agriculture, livestock production, and swine operations to identify high-value opportunities and design impactful solutions.

Customer Insights: Engage directly with producers, processors, and supply chain stakeholders to gather feedback, uncover pain points, and validate product concepts.

Regulatory Awareness: Ensure product compliance with biosecurity, animal welfare, and food safety regulations, adapting features and workflows to meet evolving standards.

Data-Driven Decisions: Leverage production, health, and performance data to inform product decisions and enable actionable insights for customers.

Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with engineering, design, sales, and customer success teams to deliver high-quality features on time and within scope.

Roadmap and Prioritization: Maintain a well-defined backlog and prioritize features based on business value, ROI, and customer impact.

Go-to-Market Execution: Partner with marketing and sales to develop launch plans, positioning, and training that drive adoption and measurable business results.

Performance Measurement: Define KPIs for product success, track adoption, and continuously optimize based on feedback and usage analytics.

Innovation: Monitor industry advancements, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings to ensure the product remains market leading.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• 7+ years of product development for software experience
• Experience in SaaS, data platforms, or enterprise software.
• Poultry, Agriculture, food production industry experience/knowledge is preferred

Preferred Personal Skills/Abilities

• Strong understanding of designing and optimizing user interfaces for custom software solutions.API experience is also preferred.
• Proven experience in developing, customizing, and deploying software-generated reports.
• Clear communication with stakeholders, development team, and other departments is essential.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and features based on business value and customer needs.
• Leadership skills to guide the development team and ensure alignment with the product vision.
• Aptitude for identifying and solving problems that arise during the development process.
• Negotiation skills to manage conflicting interests and reach consensus among stakeholders.
• Focus on understanding and advocating for the needs of end-users to ensure the product meets their requirements.
• Ability to adapt to changing requirements, priorities, and market conditions.
• Analytical mindset to interpret data and feedback to make informed decisions about the product roadmap and features.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, testers, and marketers to deliver a successful product.
• Empathy towards users, team members, and stakeholders to foster strong relationships and create a positive work environment.
• Ability to identify and mitigate risks throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Effective time management skills to meet deadlines and deliverables within the project timeline.
• Willingness to stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product management.
