  • Develop business cases and commercialization strategies.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve product development and processes.
  • Build deep knowledge of RUO apps and immuno-oncology trends.
  • Ensure platform evolution aligns with future research needs.
  • Support pipeline strategy and platform expansion.
  • Mentor and develop a team of product managers.

Job description

Elephas is seeking a Product Manager, RUO to drive the pharma and research go-to-market strategy and pipeline approach for the Elephas eLive platform. You’ll work across R&D, operations, data science, sales, and commercial teams to connect experiments, data systems, and our diagnostic platform to ensure alignment on a customer centric approach.

This role will drive product vision, strategy, and execution across the product lifecycle, ensuring alignment with evolving research workflows and market needs. The individual will work cross-functionally with R&D, engineering, and commercial teams to deliver innovative solutions that enable scientific discovery.

The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of biopharma research and translational workflows, excels in cross-functional leadership, and is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Elephas RUO platform
  • Ensure alignment between platform strategy and overall business objectives
  • Lead product lifecycle management, including feature prioritization, roadmap planning, and release execution
  • Translate customer, scientific, and market needs into clear product requirements and use cases
  • Partner closely with R&D, engineering, and commercial teams to ensure successful product development and delivery
  • Collaborate with marketing to support platform positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies
  • Drive development of business cases, product positioning, and commercialization strategies
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives related to product development, enhancements, and process improvements
  • Build and maintain deep knowledge of RUO applications, research workflows, and emerging trends in immuno-oncology and related fields
  • Work with internal teams to ensure the platform evolves in alignment with future research needs and scientific advancements
  • Support strategic planning for pipeline development and platform expansion
  • Oversee and mentor a team of product managers, fostering strong product thinking and execution
  • Coordinate product-related activities across teams to ensure efficient execution and alignment
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor/master’s degree in business related or applicable scientific area; 5+ years’ experience in product management independently managing own products in medical diagnostic, biotech or digital health
  • Knowledge of biopharma discovery and development, expertise in medical devices a plus
  • Expertise in life sciences and in vitro diagnostics
  • Demonstrated expertise translating customer needs into technical requirements
  • Strong business acumen with ability and interest to develop business cases
  • Proven expertise leading the product development process and new product initiation
  • Demonstrate fluency in tailoring communications to diverse stakeholders: customers, engineering/R&D, finance, and leadership
