Job summary

MSU Federal Credit Union is seeking a Product Manager to own products across their lifecycle, collaborating with stakeholders, technical teams, and partners to drive strategy, discovery, design, implementation, adoption and ongoing support.

The role supports onsite, hybrid, or remote work within Michigan, with occasional travel to East Lansing. Strong emphasis on data-driven decision making, compliance, and delivering member value within a regulated financial environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Product Management, or a related field.
• Roadmap development and prioritization
• Business analysis and requirements management
• Strategic planning and problem solving
• Process analysis and improvement
• Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and iterative delivery methodologies
• User Acceptance Testing coordination and execution
• Data analysis and performance measurement
• 0–2 years of relevant experience in product management, business analysis, project delivery, business operations, technology, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Manage products throughout lifecycle from discovery to retirement.
• Evaluate opportunities using data, stakeholder feedback, and priorities.
• Develop/support business case creation, cost-benefit analysis, ROI realization.
• Monitor product performance and operational impacts for enhancements.
• Partner with Engineering, Architecture, Security, Operations, Compliance, Risk, PM, and others to align priorities.
• Drive backlog prioritization and readiness activities.
• Lead or support discovery and requirements activities (epics, user stories, acceptance criteria).
• Coordinate with delivery teams for readiness, reviews, demonstrations, and UAT.
• Ensure procedures, training, communication and post-launch monitoring are in place.
