Job summary

CoreVest, Irvine, CA, is seeking a Product Manager to translate business priorities into a clear product backlog for the Business Purpose Lending technology portfolio. You will own requirements from discovery to release, aligning business and tech teams on outcomes and ensuring delivered capabilities address the business need.

You will collaborate with lending operations, underwriting, asset management, finance, data, QA, and external partners.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Five or more years in product ownership or related delivery roles.
Experience owning backlog and translating processes into clear requirements.
Experience with Agile, discovery, refinement, and release.
Strong facilitation and communication skills to align stakeholders.
Knowledge of integrations, data flows, testing, and change management.
Ability to manage multiple workstreams with clear documentation.

Responsibilities

Own and maintain a prioritized backlog reflecting value, risk, dependencies, and capacity.
Lead discovery with stakeholders to define problems, scope, and success criteria.
Write epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and flows for dev and QA.
Make day-to-day scope decisions within the roadmap and escalate when needed.
Coordinate with architects, data engineers, and vendors to meet requirements.
Plan releases, sequence work, confirm readiness, and communicate impacts.
Review work in sprint, accept stories, and ensure quality.
Coordinate testing, defects, and sign-off before production.
Monitor post-release performance and feed back into backlog.
Maintain documentation and traceability from request to outcome.
