Responsibilities

• Provide product application knowledge and develop tactical and strategic plans to support the product line's goals.
• Utilize knowledge of product and application to generate customer and technical presentations.

Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Product Manager - Industrial Solid State Circuit Breakers. This is a hybrid position that takes place out of our office in Moon Township, PA (Pittsburgh area). We are able to offer relocation assistance for qualified candidates within the United States.

The Industrial Solid State Circuit Breaker Product Manager will lead the strategy, commercialization, and growth of Eaton's brand new Solid State Circuit Breaker (SSCB) portfolio. This role is responsible for driving the global product roadmap, go-to-market strategy, product development, lifecycle management, pricing, and customer value propositions for a transformational new technology platform that will shape the future of circuit protection. The position will play a critical role in successfully launching and scaling innovative products across global markets while delivering profitable growth and competitive differentiation.

This Product Manager will serve as the business leader and champion for this emerging technology, developing deep expertise in application, customer needs, market trends, and competitive dynamics. Working closely with engineering, operations, sales, marketing, and regional product teams worldwide, the individual will drive the adoption of breakthrough solid-state protection solutions and accelerate innovation for Eaton's customers. This role requires a strong understanding of both established and emerging vertical markets, along with demonstrated success introducing new technologies and products into global markets.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $130000 - $190000 a year.

What you’ll do:

• Provides product application knowledge, interfaces with customers, and develops and executes tactical and strategic plans to support the product line's goals.

• Candidate needs to have a working knowledge of the overall sales function, customer channels, and negotiation techniques and must be able to manage division, customer and departmental resources to maximize growth opportunities.
• Answers application questions, developing and implementing growth plans, providing sales support, conducting competition/ market analysis to drive product development efforts.
• Develops marketing collateral to educate and inform sales and customers of solutions Eaton Corporation has to offer relative to Solid State Products.
• Supports and develop training programs, and the development of marketing collateral to enhance market penetration goals.
• Manage and support day to day customer and tactical activity as needed (order expedites, plant load planning, supporting warranty administration, etc.); coordinate large-scale orders/projects to maximize on-time delivery & customer satisfaction.

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• 5 years of experience in marketing, sales, or engineering focused on electrical components and/or systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business from an accredited institution.
• Masters in Business Administration from an accredited institution.
• 2 years’ experience with circuit protection, power distribution, electrical equipment, and/or connected products.

Skills:

• Ability to work effectively in team environment and independently.
• Ability to collaborate across a matrix organization and influence resources (that are not direct reports).
• Demonstrated ability to develop, launch, and market product solutions.
