Product Manager-in-Training (YC cofounder/CEO-led)

This is a training track for product managers, working directly under the CEO on one of the newer product lines such as home or motorcycle insurance. The work spans product, growth, operations, finance, engineering and data, so a strong candidate is a quick learner who takes ownership, pushes through setbacks and moves fast. A year or more in a demanding setting like consulting, banking, venture capital or an early startup is preferred, and the job is in person in Palo Alto.

How it fits the AI era

The company is building an AI advisor that handles buying, insuring, maintaining and selling cars, homes and other big assets. A product manager here would help decide where AI can take over routine steps, such as finding rates or flagging upkeep, and where customers still need clear, trustworthy guidance. Judgment about customer pain points, priorities across a fast-growing business and learning from a founder stay human.

How it builds AI experience

Working on a new product line at an AI-first company means seeing how an advisor product gets shaped, tested and expanded into new areas like home or motorcycle coverage.
