Job summary

Google is hiring a Product Manager in the US to guide ad-tech products from conception to launch, bridging technical and business teams. You will work with engineering, sales, and partnerships to build, test, and scale advertising solutions at scale.

The role requires strong product management experience, a background with ads platforms, and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives across a matrixed organization.

  • Develop external integration strategy with YouTube Ads and partners.
  • Align YouTube Ads with Google's overarching Ads strategy and drive adoption.
  • Set team OKRs and lead launches with measurable impact for partners and users.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Legal, Privacy, GTM to bring products and APIs to market.

Job description

Minimum qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
  • 2 years of experience as a Product Manager with Ads Platforms.
Preferred qualifications
  • Master's degree (MBA or MS) in a technology (e.g., Computer Science) or business-related field.
  • 7 years of experience in Product Management developing product goals, product strategy, PRDs, product roadmap(s), and driving go-to-market strategy.
  • 3 years of experience in marketing, business operations, or delivering technical presentations to executive Technical Leads.
  • Strong technical background working with internet-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, and APIs.
  • Strong collaboration skills to drive complex initiatives across matrixed, cross-functional teams.
  • Creativity and comfort with new and uncharted opportunities, entrepreneurial drive, perseverance, and a proactive style to drive cross-functional initiatives forward.

  • Define new, innovative products in the ad tech ecosystem, in close collaboration with engineering and partner teams.
  • Partner with the YouTube TV, Partner Sales PM team and YouTube Ads Infrastructure team to develop YouTube Ads' external integration strategy and building, standards-based, privacy-safe, policy-compliant and reusable integrations with YouTube's partners.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure that YouTube Ads is aligned with Google's overarching Ads strategy. Driving advertiser/partner activation and scaling adoption.
  • Set team objectives (OKRs) and leading launches with measurable impact for partners, advertisers, users and Google.
  • Lead and collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Business Development, Legal, Privacy, Go-to-Market organisation to take Infrastructure and Integration Products and APIs to market; developing internal and external sales narratives.
