Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap for data products (recommender engine outputs, machine learning predictions and more).
• Identify opportunities to maximize revenue generation within the trading and data segment, including pricing optimization and upsell opportunities.
• Synthesize customer pain points, user research, analysis, and stakeholder feedback to improve the user experience.
• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to launch and ongoing optimization.
• Define and execute on technical requirements, launch strategy, and overall product vision.
• Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to define, build, and iterate on trading and data tools.
• Champion a data-driven approach to product decision‑making and foster collaboration across the team.

What you’ll do:

• Product Vision & Strategy:
  • Develop and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap for data products (recommender engine outputs, machine learning predictions and more)
  • Identify and implement strategies to maximize revenue generation opportunities within the trading and data segment, including pricing optimization, upsell opportunities, and more
  • Identify opportunities to innovate and improve products, while ensuring a best in class user experience by synthesizing customer pain points, user research, analysis, and stakeholder feedback
• Execute:
  • Execute on our team's product vision, strategy, and roadmap
  • Define and execute on technical requirements, launch strategy, and overall vision of the product.
  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and ongoing optimization.
• Collaborate:
  • Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to define, build, and iterate on best-in-class trading and data tools.
  • Champion a data-driven approach to product decision‑making.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration across all levels of the team and organization.
• Industry Knowledge:
  • Deeply understand the DFS landscape, particularly player behavior and data consumption trends.

What you have:

• Role Specific:
  • Experience working with internal data engineering & data science teams and external data providers.
  • Familiarity with production quality & near real time consumer facing machine learning implementations.
  • Strong understanding of data analysis principles and how to leverage data to inform product decisions.
• Past Experiences:
  • 3+ years of experience in product management or related disciplines
  • Proven track record of shipping successful products that drive user engagement and business growth.
  • Documented results of building products that have garnered widespread adoption with a large audience and are built on a backbone of data.
• Personal Attributes:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
  • A strategic mindset with a knack for translating business goals into actionable product initiatives.

• Industry Specific:
  • A passion for daily fantasy sports or tangential industries with an understanding of the competitive landscape.

Where you'll live:

• While we prefer candidates based in Atlanta, we are open to qualified applicants from anywhere in the U.S. and are willing to consider remote candidates.
• This is a hybrid position based at our PrizePicks headquarters in Atlanta, GA.
• This is an on-site position requiring the employee to work full-time from our PrizePicks headquarters in Atlanta.

The typical salary range for this position is $130,000 to $145,000. At PrizePicks, we consider your role, level, and where you'll be working when determining our salary ranges. The compensation info you see on our job postings gives you an idea of the starting pay range for the position. Your actual pay within that range will depend on your specific work location, as well as your skills, experience, and education.
