Ladders, a leader in the Finance & Insurance space, seeks a Product Manager II, DeFi Borrow to own the end-to-end borrowing experience from vision through execution. You’ll shape roadmaps for crypto-backed loans and collaborate with Engineering to deliver scalable, compliant user experiences.

Remote role for US-based candidates only; you’ll engage with compliance and operations to support growth in a regulated environment while leveraging AI to improve workflows and decision making.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Product Manager II, DeFi Borrow to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will own the end-to-end product experience for a crypto-backed lending offering, guiding it from vision through execution. The person in this position will shape the roadmap for borrowing and loan management capabilities while partnering closely with Engineering to deliver a resilient, scalable, and customer-friendly experience. This work will also require strong collaboration across compliance and operational stakeholders to support growth in a regulated environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $180,370 – $212,200 annually

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end product experience for the borrowing product, from vision to execution
• Drive the multi-year roadmap for crypto-backed loans, including advanced loan management
• Define OKRs and lead cross-functional teams to achieve product goals
• Collaborate with Engineering to create resilient and scalable borrowing experiences
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards while maintaining a positive customer experience
• Establish operational rigor through launch runbooks and incident management strategies

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Product Management experience in consumer or prosumer financial products, including lending or collateralized products
• Proven ability to define and execute multi-quarter strategies with measurable results
• Familiarity with onchain concepts and DeFi lending protocols for effective engineering collaboration
• Strong quantitative analysis skills to inform product decisions and simplify financial concepts
• Experience utilizing generative AI responsibly to enhance workflow efficiency
