We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Product Manager to lead the vision, roadmap, and execution for in-app purchase (IAP) offers and promotions across the App Store. You will collaborate with business, marketing, creative, engineering, and platform commerce teams to define and drive strategies that enhance developer offerings—aimed at driving acquisition, retention, and revenue growth while delivering an exceptional customer experience. Your focus will encompass all aspects of the experience, from discovery to redemption, both in the App Store and within apps and games.

Ideal candidates have a strong track record of delivering innovative commerce products that elevate customer experience and achieve business results. You should excel at defining scope and success criteria, launching impactful features, iterating post-launch, and managing products throughout their lifecycle. Clear communication, influence across all levels, and the ability to build alignment within cross-functional teams are essential.

Description

You will:

  1. Define, deliver, and improve the next generation of in-app purchase (IAP) offers that enhance customer experience and support developer growth both on the App Store and within apps and games.
  2. Lead the product vision and strategy for IAP offers—from concept through execution—securing alignment from Apple leadership and cross-functional partners.
  3. Collaborate with the App Store, commerce, marketing, creative, and engineering teams to ensure seamless delivery and adoption of new features for consumers and developers.
  4. Advocate for and prioritize high-impact commerce features across engineering roadmaps, balancing business goals with technical feasibility.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years focused on commerce, monetization, or growth initiatives, including In-App Purchase, subscriptions, mobile commerce platforms, or two-sided marketplaces.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience delivering end-to-end product experiences, from strategy to launch and iteration.
  • Experience working on mobile gaming commerce.
  • Proven record of driving business growth through customer-focused solutions.
  • Experience collaborating with engineering, design, marketing, and analytics teams in a matrixed organization.
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to articulate vision, strategy, and details effectively, including making and presenting Keynotes.
  • Deep understanding of experimentation frameworks, offer design, and pricing models.
  • Familiarity with developer ecosystems and tools/platforms.
  • Passion for the App Store ecosystem and Apple’s mission to empower developers and delight customers.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Apple offers a comprehensive compensation package, including base pay ranging from $165,500 to $248,700, dependent on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Employees also have opportunities for stock programs, benefits such as medical/dental coverage, retirement plans, discounts, educational reimbursement, and potential bonuses or relocation support.
