Job summary

Framatome North America in Lynchburg, VA, is seeking a results-driven Sales/Marketing professional to help expand our clean energy solutions for North American customers. You will close orders, shape product applications, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused value.

The role requires a strong background in engineering or business, excellent communication, and the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, Business or related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of related experience.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with all levels of staff and management, vendors and customers.
  • Ability to adapt priorities quickly, confront issues directly and work well as part of a team.
  • Skilled in building trust, listening actively, and tailoring messages to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements sales and/or marketing strategies.
  • Close new orders for all NA customers.
  • Serve as the primary interface for assigned products, services and clients for the product line/portfolio.
  • Propose product applications and solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Make sales presentations and negotiate contract scope and conditions.
  • Perform opportunity tracking and proposal processes.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships.
  • Develop economic scenarios to assist top management in decisions.
  • Share information to align stakeholders with customer requirements.
  • Manage estimates and facilitate contract amendments for target margins.
  • Use SPEAK for client appointments, reporting and follow-ups.

What You’ll Do Day-To-Day
  • Develops and implements sales and/or marketing strategies.
  • Close new orders for all NA customers.
  • Serves as the primary interface for assigned products, services and clients for the assigned product line/portfolio.
  • Proposes product applications and solutions so that product and service deliveries meet customer requirements.
  • Makes sales presentations to customers and negotiates contract scope and conditions.
  • Performs opportunity identification, tracking and proposal process and recommends process changes.
  • Develops and maintains customer relationships.
  • Develops economic scenarios to help top management challenge and validate key business decisions.
  • Shares information so that all business players develop a level of competencies and performances in line with customer requirements.
  • Manages estimates and facilitates contract amendments so that each deal meets the targeted level of profit margin.
  • Uses SPEAK (appointment with clients, reporting, presentation, opportunity follow up, information sharing with management and product manager).
What You’ll Bring

Total Rewards Package
  • Salary: $85,000-$116,000 and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.

  • Retirement: 401(k) with employer match.
