Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a product leader to own the roadmap and execution for H1 health plans product surface. You will collaborate with network management, provider data teams, and utilization analytics to drive value for payer clients.

Responsibilities include translating payer requirements into product decisions, running analyses with data science, and maintaining metrics on adoption, data quality, and client satisfaction. Hybrid work in DC area with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of B2B product management in healthcare or life sciences.
• Experience with health plan operations and data-intensive platforms.
• Ability to translate data decisions into user-facing product choices.
• Experience running user research and turning findings into requirements.
• SQL or Python experience is a plus.

Job description

• Own the roadmap and execution for H1's health plans product surface
• Prioritize features improving network management, provider directory accuracy, utilization analytics, and quality measurement for payer clients
• Conduct discovery with network managers, provider data management teams, and credentialing leads
• Partner with data science and engineering to improve provider data completeness, accuracy, and freshness
• Define success metrics and report on adoption, data quality, and client satisfaction
• Collaborate with commercial and customer success teams to support client retention and expansion
• Translate payer regulatory requirements into prioritized product decisions for engineering and design
• Track and communicate roadmap and client commitment progress, flag risks, and coordinate resolution
• Document client-specific implementation needs with solutions engineering and data delivery
• Run ad hoc analyses and validate data against payer-facing requirements
• Identify and address operational inefficiencies in product development and delivery
• Report directly to the Head of Health Plans Product

Requirements

• 3+ years of B2B product management, preferably on data, analytics, or intelligence platforms in healthcare or life sciences
• Familiarity with health plan operations, including network management, provider data, utilization management, or prior authorization, through product, consulting, or industry experience
• Comfortable working with data science and engineering on data quality, coverage, and accuracy problems and translating those decisions into user-facing product choices
• Proven ability to run user research, synthesize findings, and convert them into actionable product requirements
• Comfortable using data to validate product decisions; SQL or Python experience a plus
• Familiarity with network management, provider credentialing, network adequacy, utilization review, or prior authorization operations
• Experience in B2B SaaS product management on data-intensive or analytics platforms
• Ability to make data quality and coverage tradeoffs visible and defensible to engineering, data science, and client stakeholders
• Effective cross-functional collaboration with data science, engineering, commercial, and customer success teams
• Based in New York, NY (preferred), Boston, Philadelphia, or Washington D.C.; hybrid with willingness to travel to New York
