Job summary

Google LLC in Kirkland, WA is seeking a Product Manager for Google Distributed Cloud (GDC). You will define strategy, work cross-functionally to bring concepts to launch, and align with engineering, product, and customers.

This role emphasizes deep technical understanding, AI infrastructure familiarity, and a data-driven approach to shaping the roadmap across the distributed cloud stack. You’ll partner with internal teams and customers to deliver scalable, enterprise-grade solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
  • 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).
  • 2 years of experience developing/launching products/technologies within one or more of the following: Cloud, SaaS, enterprise, internal tools, or supply chain networks.

Responsibilities

  • Define the long-term outlook, strategy, and roadmap for the GDC Operations.
  • Drive GDC organization wide releases by coordinating across several services meeting critical customer requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with customers to define product requirements and architecture specifically for the operators in the public sector space, prioritize features, and oversee the product development lifecycle from concept to landing.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and customers to understand their needs, gather feedback, and translate them into actionable product improvements.
  • Identify and address technical risks, infrastructure bottlenecks, and scaling challenges.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with managing large-scale production deployments across the key facets of operations, support, deployment, troubleshooting, etc.
  • Understanding of AI infrastructure (GPUs), virtualization, containerization, and experience as a builder of large-scale infrastructure products.
  • Understanding of AI and agentic technologies.
  • Ability to analyze market and customer data, interpret complex data sets, and use insights to drive product strategy and decisions.
