The Global ETF Product Team is seeking an Investment Vehicle ETF Product Manager to help shape and execute T. Rowe Price's ETF strategy across the U.S. and UCITS markets. The role will help advance initiatives across the product lifecycle, from market and client research and business case development through product governance, launch, ongoing monitoring, and other lifecycle actions. Working with partners across the firm, the Product Manager will translate client and distribution needs, T. Rowe Price investment capabilities, competitive dynamics, product economics, regulatory requirements, and operating considerations into clear recommendations and execution plans.

The successful candidate will combine strong product judgment and analytical rigor with the ability to navigate complex, cross-functional work. The role offers broad exposure to Investments, Distribution, ETF Capital Markets, Operations, Technology, Finance, Legal, Risk, Compliance, and regional product teams, as well as the opportunity to contribute to the continued development of T. Rowe Price's global ETF capabilities.

Role Summary

The ETF Product Manager conducts a broad range of product management activities in support of T. Rowe Price's ETF strategy across the U.S. and UCITS markets. The Product Manager researches client demand, market and competitive developments, internal positioning, fees and expenses, product economics, risks, and applicable regulatory environments to inform product decisions. The Product Manager uses this research and analysis to develop recommendations for new products and changes to existing products, including enhancements, conversions, repositionings, mergers, closures, and other lifecycle actions.

The ETF Product Manager works with colleagues across Global Product and other functions to evaluate product opportunities, advance assigned initiatives, and ensure that relevant commercial, investment, operational, regulatory, and governance considerations are reflected in decisions. The Product Manager communicates findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders and prepares materials for management presentations and product committee meetings, including vehicle-specific Boards of Directors.

Responsibilities
  • Conducts product management activities related to new ETF launches, mutual fund-to-ETF conversions, restructurings, mergers, closures, and other product changes, including changes to fees, benchmarks, names, or product features.
  • Collaborates with other Global Product teams and cross-functional partners to develop and challenge business cases for new ETFs and changes to existing ETFs.
  • Gathers and integrates internal insights and external client, market, competitor, and industry data to inform ETF product strategy and roadmap recommendations.
  • Researches regulatory and industry developments and works with Legal, Risk, Compliance, Operations, ETF Capital Markets, and regional Product teams to evaluate potential implications for existing and proposed ETFs.
  • Supports the planning, preparation, and execution of product governance meetings for senior management, product committees, Boards of Directors, and other stakeholder groups.
  • Develops complex analytical support and decision-oriented documentation, presents materials as appropriate, and tracks resulting decisions and required follow-up.
  • Independently creates, updates, and improves product- and vehicle-specific policies, procedures, reporting, dashboards, templates, and recurring processes.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve data quality, strengthen controls, increase consistency across regions, reduce manual work, and create scalable product-management practices.
  • Maintains accurate product-related data in applicable systems and reports.
Qualifications

  • Experience with ETFs and/or another pooled investment vehicle, including product strategy, product development, implementation, or lifecycle management.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop product business cases, evaluate product economics and performance, and synthesize complex qualitative and quantitative information into clear conclusions and recommendations.
