The Product Manager will report directly to the CEO, and is responsible for the outcome of Engineering OS, Heliux’s product data and lifecycle management module:
Partner closely with our customers’ engineering and operations organizations to gain a continuous understanding of their work-the good, the bad, the ugly.
Anticipate the capabilities that our customers need and translate them into clearly-defined product requirements that drive our design and engineering work.
Own end-to-end roadmap for Engineering OS, including priorities, development schedule, and release sequencing.
Author release communications for both existing customers and prospects, across every channel.
Work with Product Managers across Heliux to ensure the platform is greater than the sum of its modules.
Proven experience as a mechanical or electrical engineer designing and shipping complex hardware systems that are used in the field (i.e., not science projects).
Deep familiarity with (and disdain for) the legacy tools used by hardware engineers, such as CAD, PDM, PLM, ERP, MES, etc.
Proven systems thinker who finds the root problem rather than the requested feature and converts it into clear product requirements.
Willingness to be customer-facing-from the sales process, through deployment, and post-go-live.
Backend: Rust, Python, high-performance backend services, APIs, data-intensive systems.
Frontend: TypeScript, React, Next.js, real-time interfaces, WebSockets, Server-Sent Events (SSE).
Systems/Integrations: C#, Electron
Distributed Systems & Orchestration: durable workflow execution, Temporal, event-driven architectures, distributed systems
Infrastructure: Terraform, AWS, Bedrock, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB
Security/Compliance: CMMC, FedRAMP, ITAR
