BICP, a market leader in Decision Intelligence, enterprise modernization, and data-driven transformation, is seeking a Product Manager, Data Science to lead the development and adoption of data science, machine learning, and AI-enabled products for one of our strategic clients. This person will translate high-value business opportunities into clear product strategies and partner with data scientists, data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions with measurable impact.
This is a highly cross-functional role for someone who combines strong product management capabilities with an understanding of modern data and AI ecosystems. The ideal candidate can move comfortably between business strategy and technical delivery - helping teams identify the right problems, prioritize investments, define requirements, and operationalize data science products.
What You'll Do
- Develop and own the roadmap for data science, machine learning, and AI products aligned with strategic business priorities.
- Partner with leaders across digital commerce, marketing, merchandising, planning, supply chain, retail, finance, and customer experience to identify high-value opportunities.
- Translate business needs into well-defined use cases, product requirements, success metrics, and delivery plans.
- Lead products through the full lifecycle - from discovery and experimentation through production deployment, adoption, measurement, and continuous improvement.
- Prioritize initiatives based on business value, technical feasibility, data readiness, organizational capacity, and expected return on investment.
- Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, analytics teams, architects, and application teams to deliver scalable, production-ready solutions.
- Facilitate product discovery, backlog development, sprint planning, stakeholder reviews, and roadmap communication.
- Establish KPIs to measure product performance, user adoption, business impact, and model effectiveness.
- Bridge the gap between experimental models and operational products by addressing workflow integration, governance, monitoring, and change management.
- Promote responsible AI practices, including appropriate controls for data privacy, model transparency, bias, security, and human oversight.
- Communicate technical opportunities, limitations, and results clearly to business and executive stakeholders.
- Drive adoption by ensuring products integrate naturally into business processes and provide actionable experiences for end users.
What You'll Bring
- 2+ years of experience in product management, analytics product management, data science strategy, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated success delivering data, analytics, machine learning, or AI products from concept through production and adoption.
- Strong understanding of the data science lifecycle, including data preparation, experimentation, model development, validation, deployment, monitoring, and retraining.
- Experience partnering with data scientists, engineers, architects, analysts, and senior business stakeholders.
- Ability to translate ambiguous business challenges into structured product opportunities and actionable technical requirements.
- Strong product discovery, roadmap development, prioritization, backlog management, and agile delivery skills.
- Experience defining KPIs, developing business cases, and measuring the financial or operational impact of data products.
- Familiarity with modern cloud data platforms and technologies such as Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, Python, SQL, APIs, and business-intelligence tools.
- Working knowledge of generative AI, large language models, predictive analytics, optimization, recommendation systems, or customer analytics.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder-management, and executive-presentation skills.
- Ability to balance speed, business value, technical complexity, and long-term scalability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in retail, apparel, consumer products, e-commerce, or another customer-centric industry.
- Familiarity with use cases such as demand forecasting, assortment and inventory optimization, customer segmentation, personalization, marketing effectiveness, pricing, supply-chain optimization, and product recommendations.
- Experience supporting enterprise data transformation or modern cloud data-platform initiatives.
- Familiarity with MLOps, model governance, experimentation frameworks, data privacy, and responsible AI.
- Experience integrating new data products into operational workflows and driving adoption across business teams.
What Success Looks Like
Success will be measured by the ability to identify and prioritize meaningful business opportunities, accelerate the delivery of production-ready data science products, increase adoption among business users, and demonstrate measurable improvements in revenue, customer experience, operational efficiency, or decision-making.
