Job summary

Dormont Manufacturing Co. seeks a Product Manager for Residential Power Generation Controls to lead strategy and execution for next-generation residential control platforms, integrating hardware with cloud-connected services.

You will own the end-to-end lifecycle, translate customer needs, regulatory requirements, and system-level needs into clear specifications, and drive reliable, scalable home solutions through cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience, including 1+ years in product management.
• Experience with end-to-end product lifecycle for embedded controls and cloud-connected ecosystems is advantageous.

The Product Manager - Residential Power Generation Controls will lead the strategy and execution for next-generation residential control platforms with expanding integration into cloud-connected monitoring, interconnect coordination, and load management services. This role owns the end-to-end product lifecycle for embedded controls and their associated digital ecosystems - translating customer insights, regulatory requirements, and system-level needs into clear, actionable product and software specifications. We are seeking a technically strong product leader with proven experience defining requirements for connected control systems, particularly where physical hardware and cloud services intersect in residential-scale energy environments.
