Job summary

MISUMI Americas, a division of MISUMI Group, is seeking a Product Manager to own a defined product area within our platform. You will gather customer insights, write clear requirements, and partner with Engineering and Design to deliver outcomes and drive continuous improvement.

This role targets PM craftsmanship, with growth toward broader ownership and strategic autonomy, reporting to the VP, Product Management.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of product management experience in B2B software/e-commerce/platform environments
• Experience owning a defined product area from discovery through delivery
• Experience with Agile development and working with Engineering/Design
• Proven ability to build relationships across functions and communicate clearly
• Experience using data and customer insights to inform prioritization
• Familiarity with defining and tracking product metrics
• Knowledge of platforms with large catalogs or configurable products
• Interest in industrial manufacturing or engineering procurement workflows

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of customers, users, and business context relevant to your product area
• Synthesize needs and stakeholder feedback to form a grounded point of view
• Assess internal user needs across functions and identify workflow improvements
• Track metrics and develop hypotheses for opportunities
• Collaborate with Engineering and Design to scope and deliver roadmap items
• Lead cross-functional meetings to align scope and priorities
• Apply Agile methods to manage sprints and timelines
• Communicate progress and manage risks with stakeholders
• Travel up to 10% annually for team collaboration and research
