Qualifications

• 5+ years in financial services with a data-driven mindset.
• Understanding of alternative data in investment research.
• Experience with analytical products, metrics or models.
• Knowledge of the alt data market landscape and workflows.
• Ability to collaborate with data scientists and engineers on complex problems.
• Strong judgment on trade-offs between analytics, scalability and usability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Collaborative, ownership-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategy, roadmap and requirements for alt data in research workflow apps.
• Own product vision, roadmap and execution for proprietary analytics.
• Partner with data science and engineering to define methodologies.
• Translate complex analytics into intuitive client-facing experiences.
• Understand target users’ workflows and objectives to address investment questions.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across product, engineering, data science, research, sales and GTM.
• Define success metrics for analytics adoption and impact on workflows.
• Act as product owner for one or more Agile teams.
