About Zipline

Zipline is the world’s largest and most experienced drone delivery service. We are on a mission to serve all humans equally by ensuring access to food, medicine and essential goods anytime, anywhere. We design, build, and operate the world’s largest autonomous logistics system, delivering critical supplies quickly and reliably. Today, Zipline operates on four continents, makes a delivery somewhere in the world every 30 seconds, and has completed millions of deliveries to date, including blood, vaccines, medical supplies, food, and retail products.

Our customers include the world’s largest and most prominent healthcare systems, governments, retailers, restaurants and global businesses who rely on us to save lives, reduce emissions, increase economic opportunity, and provide delivery from point A to point B as fast as possible. The drone is only 15% of what we’ve built to enable seamless, reliable, global operations.

Our system strengthens supply chains, reduces congestion, and gives people time back. With more than 140 million commercial autonomous miles safely flown, Zipline is redefining access to healthcare, consumer products, and food across the globe.

We operate at a global scale and are looking for practical problem solvers who thrive on real‑world challenges and rapid growth. Our team is motivated by building systems that have a direct, meaningful impact on people’s lives and by scaling the future of logistics. We are seeking people who sculpt from first principles, enjoy facing adversity, and can do the impossible at record breaking speeds.

About You And The Role

As a Product Manager on Zipline’s Airspace Platform team, you will help build the infrastructure that makes autonomous aviation safer, more efficient, and scalable across the world. Zipline already operates production‑grade airspace management capabilities at significant scale. The next opportunity is to turn that operational experience and data into a broader platform for airspace intelligence, coordination, interoperability, and market expansion.

You will work at the intersection of autonomy, aviation, software, data, regulation, and real‑world operations. You will help define how Zipline understands and uses shared airspace, coordinates with other airspace users, integrates with external systems, and enters new markets. This role is ideal for a product leader who enjoys ambiguous, technically complex problems and can move fluidly from strategy to analytics to validated product decisions.

What You’ll Do
  • Define key aspects of the product strategy and roadmap for Zipline’s Airspace Platform, spanning airspace intelligence, strategic and tactical coordination, interoperability, tracking, analytics, and operational workflows.
  • Turn real‑world flight and airspace data into products that improve safety, efficiency, visibility, and access to shared airspace.
  • Build analytical tools and metrics to identify operational friction, explain delays and conflicts, measure airspace efficiency, and guide product decisions.
  • Lead interoperability with external drone operators, air traffic management, regulatory, and industry systems.
  • Help shape industry standards and ecosystem architecture through engagement with regulators, standards organizations, customers, and partners.
  • Partner with commercial, regulatory, and operations teams to deliver the capabilities required for Zipline’s entry into new markets.
  • Use simulation, data analysis, rapid prototypes, and AI‑native workflows to explore ideas, test assumptions, and invalidate weak concepts before significant engineering investment.
  • Align engineering, autonomy, operations, safety, regulatory, data, and commercial teams around clear priorities and measurable outcomes.
What You’ll Bring
  • 8+ years of product management, technical product management, systems, analytics, or related experience.
  • Experience building complex software platforms, data products, operational systems, or products that operate in the real world.
  • Strong analytical skills, including experience defining metrics, working with operational data, and using evidence to prioritize decisions.
  • Technical fluency with APIs, data models, distributed systems, geospatial concepts, integrations, and operational workflows.
  • A track record of taking ambiguous problems from concept through prototyping, validation, deployment, and scale.
  • Strong ability to influence across organizational boundaries, including engineers, operators, regulators, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to make complex technical and operational topics clear.
  • Skill in AI‑native product development and practical experience using AI tools for analysis, prototyping, research, experimentation, or workflow automation.
  • Experience with market launches, international product expansion, autonomous systems, robotics, logistics, or mobility is a plus.
