Job summary

ProphetX is seeking a motivated Product Manager to join our remote-first team. You will own the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, bridging engineering and business stakeholders to deliver market-ready solutions for sports-focused prediction markets.

We value a hands-on, fast-moving approach, collaboration, and clear communication. You will define the product strategy, manage the roadmap, and work with cross-functional teams across the US to drive measurable results.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of product management experience in trading, fintech, or gaming.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering, Business, or an equivalent field.
• Strong knowledge of software development processes (Agile/Scrum).
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Figma for product work.

Responsibilities

ProphetX is America's first sports-native prediction market, officially CFTC-regulated. Our technology allows us to power America's next great asset class, prediction markets, and the key driver behind them, sports event contracts. We have deep regulatory and operational expertise when it comes to sports-focused exchange infrastructure.

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Product Manager to join our team. This is a true startup role. It's hands on, fast moving, and collaborative. You'll wear multiple hats, thrive in ambiguity, and push projects forward without waiting for direction. In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders to launch products that meet market needs. You'll own the product lifecycle from ideation to launch and beyond, driving alignment, execution, and measurable results while keeping a builder's mindset and a "get it done" attitude.

What You'll Own

Product Strategy and Roadmap:

• Define product vision and strategy in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Create and maintain a prioritized product roadmap aligned with business goals.

Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

• Translate business needs into technical requirements and user stories.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, operations, marketing, and sales.

Project Execution:

• Manage the product development lifecycle, including planning, execution, and delivery.
• Partner with engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility and quality standards are met.
• Partner with business teams to ensure smooth and successful product launches

Stakeholder Communication:

• Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Communicate product progress, challenges, and milestones to relevant parties.

Market Research and Analysis:

• Conduct market research to identify customer needs, competitive gaps, and industry trends.
• Define and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success.

Technical Expertise:

• Gain a deep understanding of the technical architecture of products to guide decision-making.
• Support troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts during product rollout and beyond.

What We’re Looking For

• 3-5 years of product management experience in trading, fintech, or gaming
• Proven track record of successfully managing technical products or projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong understanding of software development processes (Agile/Scrum experience preferred).
• Proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, Figma, or similar.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences.
• Ability to discuss and prioritize trade-offs between technical constraints and business needs.
• Growth-focused mindset, data-driven, and highly adaptable, with a proactive approach to building scalable, results-driven programs..

• Experience in Prediction Markets is a plus.
• Familiarity with programming languages, APIs, or cloud technologies is a plus.
