Job description

At Fundbox, we are dedicated to supporting small businesses through fast and incredibly intuitive access to working capital. With our embedded technology solutions, we’ve cultivated deep partnerships with industry-leading software to give small businesses financial agility and peace of mind. We need outstanding people to help us achieve our goals.

We’re looking for a talented Product Manager to join our exceptional team, help us continue our rapid growth, and create a better way forward for our customers. You’ll drive the launch of products and features that will directly impact the growth and success of Fundbox, collaborating with engineering, marketing, credit, design, and business development teams to ensure that you’re delivering with quality and speed. This is an exciting opportunity that offers passionate current and aspiring product managers a chance to take on interesting product challenges and deliver substantial business value.

**Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for employer sponsorship. Fundbox will not hire any applicants for this role who require employer sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.

Job requirements

You should have

  • Minimum of 4 years of product management or adjacent product-building experience, preferably in financial services, fintech, or similarly technical product area
  • Willingness to learn into cross-functional domains (e.g. engineering, credit, capital markets, marketing, operations, and compliance) deep enough to lead collaboration and problem-solving across them
  • Endless curiosity for solving complex problems, ramping up quickly in new domains, and continuously improving how you and your team work
  • Has gone beyond story points and prioritization: writes clear requirements that survive development cyclesand can drive an entire project from ideation to launch
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python, with the ability to pull, analyze, and translate large datasets into clear business cases and drive decisions
  • Comfortable guiding AI tools to accelerate exploration and prototyping, while treating AI output as a starting point rather than a source of truth: you push, correct, and shape it into strategies that hold up for human stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting insights and recommendations succinctly to senior and executive stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams, ruthlessly prioritize, and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Job responsibilities

  • Act as a forward-deployed product manager and primary relationship manager with external strategic partners, confidently representing both the credit and product dimensions of Fundbox’s offerings in executive-level conversations

  • Define and drive the product experience across the full stack – UX, underwriting, operations, marketing, capital markets, and compliance – to ensure solutions are both customer-centric, economically viable long term, and institution-ready
  • Lead analytical deep dives to size opportunities, build business cases for new features and partnerships, and recommend clear go / no-go decisions up to the executive level
  • Partner closely with engineering, data, marketing, capital markets, credit, and legal/compliance teams to align on goals, remove blockers, anticipate risks, and deliver high-quality launches on time
  • Conduct market research and gather competitive intelligence to identify new product opportunities and understand market trends
  • Serve as the voice of both customers and partners in product decisions, ensuring Fundbox solutions create value for small businesses while meeting partner objectives
