Job description

Optomi, in partnership with a leading telecommunications organization, is seeking a Product Manager to support the development and evolution of next-generation WiFi platforms. This role will own a subset of WiFi hardware and software features throughout the full product lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on WiFi 7 capabilities, technical feature execution, and cross-functional collaboration. If you are newer to the Product world and looking to grow your career in Product Management, this could be for you!

Location: Hybrid in Denver, CO (4x onsite)

Type: W2 Contract (extensions and potential conversion to FTE)

Required Qualifications:

  • 1–2+ years of product development or product management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline related to telecommunications or product management
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Solid business acumen with a sense of urgency to deliver results
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and prioritize independently
  • Synthesize technical and business inputs into clear recommendations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of WiFi technologies, including standards, generations, and features
  • Experience with both customer-facing and internal product management
  • Experience in hardware product management, ideally supporting device launches
  • Experience in software or feature-based product management
  • Background in cable, telecommunications, software, or online services
  • Proven ability to translate feedback into actionable product features
  • Experience producing executive-level materials for senior leadership (Group VP and above)
