Job summary

The Scion Group is seeking a Product Manager to own the Scion Intelligence product roadmap and oversee the full development lifecycle at our Chicago headquarters.

You will partner with engineering, analytics, operations, and executives to translate operational needs into scalable technology solutions that deliver measurable business value while maintaining usability and reliability.

Qualifications

  • 3–7+ years of product management experience in technology or data-driven products.
  • Proven experience working with engineering teams in Agile environments.
  • Strong ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with comfort using data to drive decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap for Scion Intelligence.
  • Identify data and analytics opportunities to improve decision-making.
  • Translate complex business problems into well-scoped product initiatives.
  • Own the product backlog, write clear requirements and user stories.
  • Prioritize features based on impact, feasibility, and user value.
  • Partner with engineering to deliver high-quality releases on time.
  • Establish pre-deployment quality control processes to ensure successful deployment.
  • Act as the primary liaison between technology teams and business stakeholders.
  • Gather and synthesize feedback from users across revenue management, sales, marketing, operations, investments, asset management, and leadership.
  • Present product updates, trade-offs, and outcomes to senior leadership.
  • Define success metrics and KPIs for Scion Intelligence.
  • Use data to evaluate product performance, inform prioritization, and guide continuous improvement.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and governance standards are upheld.
  • Advocate for intuitive, user-centered design across all product experiences.
  • Ensure product solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with technical best practices.

Your Opportunity

The Product Manager will own the product roadmap for Scion’s proprietary decision science platform, Scion Intelligence, and oversee the full product development lifecycle. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, data, design, and engineering—translating real operational needs into high‑impact, scalable technology solutions.

You will partner closely with engineering, analytics, operations, and executive stakeholders to ensure Scion Intelligence delivers measurable business value while maintaining a high standard for usability, reliability, and performance.

Your Responsibilities
  • Define and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap for Scion Intelligence aligned with Scion’s strategic goals.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage data, analytics, and automation to improve decision‑making and operational efficiency.
  • Translate complex business problems into well‑scoped product initiatives.
  • Own the product backlog, develop wireframes, write clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on business impact, technical feasibility, and user value.
  • Partner with engineering teams to deliver high‑quality releases on time.

Required

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or quantitative field.
Operational Details
  • Job location is based at Scion’s Chicago corporate headquarters.
  • Working hours consist of standard daytime business hours.
