Job description

At PMMC, our mission is to continuously improve the financial performance of healthcare organizations, so they have more resources to devote to patient care. We provide advanced revenue cycle management and SAAS solutions to hospitals, health systems, and physician groups across the country. By helping clients recover revenue, streamline workflows, and strengthen margins, we enable them to better serve their communities. With today’s evolving healthcare landscape, including changing reimbursement models, price transparency, and population health, the revenue cycle has never been more critical. PMMC is committed to delivering innovative technology and strategic guidance to help providers successfully navigate these challenges.

About The Role

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager who can own products end to end and run with minimal direction. This is a role for someone who sets the vision, builds and defends the roadmap, and ships to market without waiting to be told what to do next. You will own outcomes, not just a backlog. You will make the calls on what gets built and why, partner directly with engineering and customers, and be accountable for results. We need an operator who turns ambiguity into a plan and a plan into shipped product.

Responsibilities:
  • Own the product strategy and roadmap for your products, setting direction and priorities and aligning leadership without needing day-to-day oversight.
  • Run product discovery independently: identify opportunities through customer research, market analysis, and data, then decide which problems are worth solving.
  • Drive delivery from concept to launch, defining requirements clearly enough that engineering can execute with little back-and-forth and shipping on schedule.
  • Own and prioritize the backlog, making the tradeoff calls between scope, timing, and engineering capacity and standing behind those decisions.
  • Lead cross-functional execution across engineering, sales, marketing, and support, coordinating the work yourself rather than escalating every dependency.
  • Drive innovation by bringing forward new product ideas, testing them, and building the case for investment in areas the team has not yet explored.
  • Own go-to-market and launch readiness, including release validation, internal enablement, and the documentation needed for customers and internal teams.
  • Be accountable for product outcomes: define success metrics, track performance against them, and make the changes needed to hit your goals.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, computer science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years in product management, including products you have personally owned and taken to market with limited oversight.
  • Strong understanding of hospital contract management, reimbursement methodologies, and revenue cycle workflows, or the proven ability to ramp on a complex domain quickly.
  • A track record of shipping products independently, owning the full lifecycle from concept to launch and the results afterward.
  • General technical understanding is sufficient to scope work with engineers, weigh tradeoffs, and make sound build decisions without deep dependence on others.
  • Working knowledge of SQL is strongly preferred, with the ability to query data, validate assumptions, investigate product issues, and partner effectively with engineering and data teams.
  • Proficient with product management and delivery tools such as Azure DevOps, and able to run your own process without handholding.
  • Sound judgment and strong prioritization: you can decide what matters, manage your own time, and keep work moving without being chased.
  • Able to write clear product specifications and acceptance criteria that engineering can build with minimal clarification.
  • Strong emotional intelligence with the ability to listen well, read the room, build trust, handle difficult conversations professionally, and influence stakeholders without relying on authority.
  • Uphold confidentiality standards and compliance with HIPAA regulations.

This role is for someone who wants real ownership: the autonomy to set direction, the accountability to deliver, and the room to drive innovation across their products.
