BryceTech seeks a Product Management Support – Blood Subject Matter Expert to provide specialized medical and technical expertise to the Defense Health Agency, Warfighter Protection and Acute Care portfolio. Qualifications

• 10+ years of related experience in medical product development.
• Subject matter expertise in blood and blood products, hematology, transfusion medicine.
• Experience supporting medical product development, research, or clinical programs.
• Ability to analyze and communicate complex scientific information.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent technical efforts.
• Working knowledge of DoD acquisition processes for medical product development.
• Active DoD security clearance preferred.

BryceTech is seeking a Product Management Support – Blood Subject Matter Expert to provide specialized medical and technical expertise to the Defense Health Agency (DHA), Warfighter Protection and Acute Care (WPAC) portfolio. This position will support the development and management of blood and blood products, blood research and operations, and combat casualty care products and devices, applying subject matter expertise across the medical product development lifecycle

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert in blood and blood products, blood research, and blood product operations
• Provide technical expertise related to traumatic hemorrhage, hematology, transfusion medicine, and combat casualty care products and devices
• Provide senior technical input to Product Managers and PMO leadership
• Support advanced development requirements for medical products and related initiatives
• Independently manage multiple technical efforts, priorities, and projects
• Participate as a substantive member of Integrated Product Teams, working groups, committees, and other technical forums
• Support product development design sessions and technical discussions throughout the product lifecycle
• Conduct market research and monitor relevant technology and industry developments
• Engage with Government, industry, academic, clinical, technical, and other stakeholders
• Assess and monitor technical risks and stakeholder positions and communicate findings to Product Managers and PMO leadership
• Support Product Managers with acquisition documentation throughout the DoD Acquisition Lifecycle
• Provide technical input to Acquisition Strategies, Acquisition Decision Memoranda, Acquisition Program Baselines, Analysis of Alternatives, Requirements Documents, Concepts of Operations, Life Cycle Sustainment Plans, LCCEs, RFIs/RFPs, Systems Engineering Plans, and TEMPs
• Prepare or contribute to white papers, RFI responses, technical guides, executive summaries, situational reports, data summaries, market research reports, risk assessments, protocols, decision logs, and briefings
• Review program documentation for technical accuracy and provide expert analysis
• Provide technical input related to non-clinical studies and clinical trial design and execution
• Review non-clinical study reports, clinical protocols, regulatory applications, and related communications
• Provide technical input concerning chemistry, manufacturing, and controls for applicable biologics, drugs, and devices
• Support development of plans for testing, fielding, delivery, and training of assigned products
• Support development and implementation of policies, regulations, and documentation governing blood products and combat casualty care products
• Review FDA recommendations and applicable clinical and regulatory documentation
• Communicate complex technical information effectively to personnel at multiple organizational levels

Requirements

• 10+ years of related experience in medical product development
• Demonstrated subject matter expertise in blood and blood products, hematology, transfusion medicine, blood product operations, traumatic hemorrhage, or closely related combat casualty care disciplines
• Experience supporting medical product development, research, clinical programs, or related medical technology activities
• Ability to analyze and communicate complex scientific and technical information
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent technical efforts
• Ability to participate effectively in IPTs and cross-functional teams
• Working knowledge of DoD acquisition processes applicable to medical product development is required
• Active DoW secret clearance preferred

Position is contingent upon contract award.
