Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks a Logistics Analyst Senior to provide Product Management/Logistics Support for Army medical products, guiding transition from development to sustainment on the battlefield.

You will collaborate with Project Managers and IPS specialists to ensure DoW-aligned fielding, IPS elements, and timely document approvals while coordinating with Army and manufacturers for fielding readiness.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field (with a focus on logistics) or the equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
  • Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience
  • Required Technical Skills: Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Project, Excel, Outlook, and TEAMS); Military experience in logistics, fielding, and sustainment of products.
  • Attributes for Success: Excellent communications, writing, organizational and project management skills; proactive self-starter; able to present to leaders and executives

Responsibilities

  • Utilize product management skills to work with Project Managers and other Logistics Management Specialists to provide Integrated Product Support (IPS) for multiple medical products
  • Apply life cycle logistics management concepts and methodology to assigned projects and utilize a thorough working knowledge of IPS, DoW requirements determination, and program planning
  • Take the lead in reviewing, proofreading, and staffing documents through sign-off of the document
  • Be proactive to ensure all tasks are completed timely; manage stakeholder responses, ensure proper format, and adhere to schedules and due dates
  • Utilize knowledge of standard Army/DoW IPS elements and tailor actions to fit the managed product
  • Coordinate with the Army, other DoW activities, manufacturers, and stakeholders in preparing for fielding and sustainment
  • Participate in Integrated Production Teams (IPTs) and meetings; coordinate meetings, develop agendas, prepare minutes
  • Provide management and coordination for maintenance and sustainment support to DoW users, manufacturers, and Services logistic POC
  • Participate in special projects as required

Seize your opportunity to make a personal impact in providing Product Management/Logistics Support to assist our Army client in the transition of products from advanced development and into sustainment of fielded medical products, devices, equipment, and systems used on the battlefield.

Our work depends on a Logistics Analyst Senior joining our team and utilizing their medical logistics experience to ensure our Client’s products are ready for deployment following DoW requirements and able to meet the acquisition timeline to make is way to the Warfighter.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
  • Utilize product management skills to work with Project Managers and other Logistics Management Specialists to provide Integrated Product Support (IPS) for multiple medical products

  • Provide management and coordination for the maintenance and sustainment support to the DoW users, manufacturer, and the Services logistic points of contact
  • Participate in special projects as required
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in a related field (with a focus on logistics) or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.
  • Required Experience : 5+ years of related experience
  • Required Technical Skills : Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Project, Excel, Outlook, and TEAMS); Military experience in logistics, fielding, and sustainment of products.
  • Attributes for Success : Excellent communications, writing, organizational and project management skills. Highly proactive self-starter to work both independently and in a team environment. Able to conduct presentation to leaders and other executive team members
  • Preferred Skills : Experience with preventive medicine or CBRN products. Experience with Theater Enterprise Wide Logistics System (TEWLS), Global Combat Support System-Army (GCCS-Army), Cloud Equipping (cQuiP) program, WEBBLIS, Decision Support Tool (DST), DLA Medical Master Online (DMMOnline) and/or ability to learn quickly
  • Location : Hybrid (on-site 3 days a week at Ft. Detrick, MD)
  • Travel : Less than 10%

The likely salary range for this position is $64,230 - $85,100. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
