Job summary

Medline Industries, LP offers a Product Management Internship designed to provide real-world, hands-on experience across product development, marketing, sourcing, sales, quality assurance, operations and finance. Interns own projects and gain insights into daily responsibilities within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture.

The 10-week summer program runs from early June through mid-August at one of our four corporate offices in the Chicagoland area, featuring social events, leadership

Qualifications

• Junior standing required.
• GPA of 3.0 minimum preferred.
• Past internship in product management, marketing, or business preferred.
• Interest in Healthcare industry preferred.
• Excellent organizational, planning, communication, and follow-up skills required.
• Excellent presentation skills for groups.
• Strategic, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Bias toward action and results oriented.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required.
• Unrestricted permanent US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Development and launch of new product lines or improvements.
• Assist in development and execution of sales and marketing strategies.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional pieces and packaging design.
• Research market and analyses to determine new opportunities.
• Craft and deliver presentations to sales force and customers.
• Negotiate with vendors to meet goals while maintaining relationships.
• Work with Inventory Management to ensure stock levels and service goals.
