Job summary

We are seeking a Product Manager to join our OverPass business unit. This role will be responsible for driving the strategic growth of a portfolio of advanced OverPass interconnect solutions supporting AI, networking, and next-generation computing platforms. The successful candidate may be responsible for one or more product families spanning high speed connectors, flyover cable assemblies, and emerging connectivity technologies, while partnering closely with engineering, operations, sales, and customers to drive business growth and technology leadership.

The successful candidate will own product profitability, roadmap development, customer engagement, business planning, pricing, and design-win execution while working cross-functionally with other teams to deliver industry-leading connectivity solutions for AI, cloud, and networking applications.

Responsibilities

• Drive the new business opportunity funnel. Work closely with the field sales teams to develop account strategies to identify and win new opportunities,
• Engage with sales and customers to understand technology roadmaps, application requirements, and future platform trends.
• Build and own business cases for new products including pricing and CapEx investment; generate business proposals
• Support new opportunities by providing samples and technical information, responding to RFQ with business proposals, and leading customer presentations, technical reviews, and executive discussions.
• Regularly and proactively communicate to and visit customers to build rapport, relationship, credibility and technical thought leadership.
• Define product requirements and specifications based on customer needs and industry trends.
• Manage product lifecycle from concept and ideation through development and capacity planning to launch and EoL
• Lead cross functional coordination between Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Sales to drive product development and ramp-up.
• Proactively present and promote the product portfolio to help the field teams understand its positioning, benefits, and target customers.
• Own revenue forecasting and pricing strategy to deliver profitable revenue growth and market share
• Represent Amphenol HSIO Overpass at trade shows, customer workshops, and industry events.
• Keep abreast of the market situation (current condition and future trends) and contribute in the recommendation of product line positioning to be ahead of the competition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Business, or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Marketing, Engineering, Business Development, or Program Management.
• Willingness to travel and engage directly with customers globally.
• Comfortable working with multiple levels of the organization and across adjacent functional groups
• Experience with interconnects, high-speed connectivity, AI infrastructure, networking, semiconductor ecosystems, or data center products preferred.
