Applied Materials, Inc. in Austin, TX, is seeking a product change management leader to drive PCM, control ECO approvals, and implement PCN with Global Product Support.

Responsibilities

  • Owns PCM and controls Unreleased product approval and ECO approvals.
  • Implements PCN and collaborates with Global Product Support.
  • Manages field service activities and reviews system feedback for customer impact.
  • Ensures accuracy of shipped configurations and BOMs.
  • Reviews BOM accuracy in CaRM and NSR approvals.
  • Owns common modules roadmap and implementation post Phase 5 of ePLC.
  • Implements component roadmaps including obsolescence and cost reductions.
  • Facilitates intercompany communication on pricing, spare level contents, and restricted part orders.
  • Facilitates alignment meeting for product roadmap and market proliferation.
  • Implements cost reduction roadmap.
  • Manages strategic vendor issues.
  • Manages all changes to the product after release due to engineering, quality, safety, or supply obsolescence

Key Responsibilities

Owns product change management (PCM) and control Unreleased product approval and control ECO (Engineering Change Order) approval Implementation of PCN (Part Change Notification), with Global Product Support Manages field service related activities, reviews approves and filters all system feedback activities that will have customer impact Accuracy of customer shipped configurations and BOMs (Bill of Materials) CaRM (Configuration accuracy Review Meeting) reviews BOM (Bill of Materials) accuracy NSR (Non Standard Request) approval Owns common modules roadmap and implementation post Phase 5 of ePLC. Implementation of component roadmaps including part obsolescence, replacements, alternative vendors and cost reduction Facilitates Intercompany communication to align on product strategies, provide guidance on pricing, spare level contents, and restricted part orders. Facilitates alignment meeting for product roadmap and market proliferation Implementation of cost reduction roadmap Manage strategic vendor issues Manage all changes to the product after product release whether driven by engineering, quality, safety, customer demands or supply obsolesce

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable. For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
