Job description

About Rad AI

At Rad AI, we’re on a mission to transform healthcare with artificial intelligence. Founded by a radiologist, our AI‑driven solutions are revolutionizing radiology—saving time, reducing burnout, and improving patient care. With one of the largest proprietary radiology report datasets in the world, our AI has helped uncover hundreds of new cancer diagnoses and reduced error rates in tens of millions of radiology reports by nearly 50%.
Rad AI has secured over $140M in funding, including a recently oversubscribed Series C ($68M round) led by Transformation Capital, bringing our valuation to $528M. Our investors include Khosla Ventures, World Innovation Lab, Gradient Ventures, Cone Health Ventures, and others—all backing our mission to empower physicians with cutting‑edge AI. Our latest advancements in generative AI are used by thousands of radiologists daily, supporting more than one‑third of radiology groups and healthcare systems and nearly 50% of all medical imaging in the U.S. at partners such as Cone Health, Jefferson Einstein Health, Geisinger, Guthrie Healthcare System, and Henry Ford Health.
Recognized as one of the most promising healthcare AI companies by CB Insights and AuntMinnie, and ranked by Deloitte as the 19th fastest‑growing company in North America, we are building AI‑powered solutions that make a real impact. Most recently, Rad AI was named to CNBC’s Disruptor 50 list, highlighting the innovation and momentum behind our mission.

Key Product – Orchestration

The Orchestration platform is our emerging layer for workflow, interoperability, and intelligent routing across the imaging stack—connecting modalities, PACS, AI partners, and downstream systems into a single, coherent operating fabric. It is the connective tissue that turns AI capabilities into a true imaging platform and sits at the center of how health systems will buy, deploy, and scale AI in radiology over the next decade.

Role Overview

You will operate as the product and business owner of Orchestration within Rad AI. You own the vision, roadmap, commercial strategy, and day‑to‑day execution that connects them. You’ll design and run a focused, cross‑functional team with clear goals, decision rights, and accountability—a senior operator, not a narrow PM. You’ll be deeply embedded with customers, partners, and your team in equal measure, translating health system and imaging realities into product priorities, turning engineering capacity into shipped capability, and ensuring each launch lands as a real commercial moment—not just a release.

Responsibilities
  • Own Orchestration end‑to‑end – lead strategy from concept through launch and commercialization, and be accountable for adoption, revenue, and platform impact.
  • Define the platform narrative – articulate how Orchestration fits into the broader Rad AI platform and the market story we tell customers, partners, and investors.
  • Translate market needs into execution – turn customer and ecosystem signals into clear product priorities, execution plans, and launch milestones.
  • Drive cross‑functional alignment – connect product, engineering, sales, partnerships, implementations, and leadership into a single, coherent motion.
  • Build the commercial strategy alongside the product strategy – pricing and packaging, partner model, design partnerships, market positioning, and rollout plan.
  • Make the build / partner / buy calls – evaluate options across orchestration‑related capabilities and decide where we build, partner, or acquire.
  • Hit high‑stakes timelines – own delivery against major industry moments and launch deadlines, and be the central point of accountability for unblocking teams.
  • Prioritize the highest‑value bets – identify the most important opportunities across workflow, interoperability, routing, and adjacent platform capabilities, and say no to the rest.
  • Operate like a founder – step into whatever role the moment calls for—contracts, partner negotiations, customer escalations, technical tradeoffs—while keeping your eyes on the long‑term build.
Required Qualifications
  • Commercial mindset: connect product decisions to revenue, pricing, partnerships, and market position.
  • Deep industry experience in radiology, imaging, PACS, workflow, interoperability, DICOM, routing, or adjacent enterprise imaging infrastructure—and strong understanding of hospital and radiology buying decisions.
  • Previous leadership of major product or platform initiatives, ideally as Head of Product, GM, or senior product leader in a relevant healthcare or imaging company.
  • Ability to operate with autonomy, influence executives, and make decisions in ambiguity while bringing credibility from day one.
  • Track record of turning ambiguous strategic ideas into shipped products and real customer adoption across product, engineering, and commercial teams.
Nice to Have
  • Launched a platform or interoperability product into a regulated, enterprise environment with scale.
  • Familiarity with the ecosystem of imaging vendors, workflow vendors, AI partners, and health system stakeholders.
  • Experience shaping pricing, packaging, and partner models for a platform product—beyond features.
  • Experience with AI/ML products in mission‑critical environments, balancing innovation with safety and reliability.
  • Energy for a remote‑first, highly cross‑functional environment and direct engagement with health system partners.
Success Metrics
  • Clear orchestration strategy and roadmap with leadership alignment on priorities and trade‑offs.
  • Ownership and steady execution cadence across all orchestration workstreams.
  • Commercial story and design‑partner approach defined, with early lighthouse partners signed.
  • Credible orchestration product in the market at a high‑stakes industry milestone.
  • Orchestration positioned as a meaningful, named driver of Rad AI’s future growth internally and externally.
