Job description

Description

About Alvarez & Marsal Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is a global consulting firm with entrepreneurial, action- and results-oriented professionals. We take a hands‑on approach to solving our clients' problems and helping them reach their potential. A&M is different by design: we give people ownership and impact from day one, fuel development through real opportunity, and provide direct access to leaders who invest in our growth. Our culture celebrates independent thinkers and doers who positively impact clients and shape our industry. Guided by A&M's core values of Integrity, Quality, Objectivity, Fun, Personal Reward, and Inclusive Diversity, our collaborative, globally minded environment is why our people love working at A&M.

The Team

You will join the Global AI & Knowledge Organization (GAIKO), which leads A&M’s AI strategy, enablement, and knowledge infrastructure. Within GAIKO’s AI & Data organization, the AI Tools team manages the Enterprise AI platforms practitioners use in their daily work.

The team brings together business needs, vendor capabilities, and firm requirements to evaluate, introduce, and continually improve AI tools for thousands of global practitioners.

How You Will Contribute

As Product Lead, you will help determine which AI capabilities A&M introduces, how they reach practitioners, and how effectively they are used. Working with the Product Director, you will translate business needs and vendor developments into a prioritized cross-product roadmap, define clear requirements and success measures, and manage delivery from initial evaluation through pilot, rollout, adoption, and ongoing improvements.

This is a hands‑on role. You will test new capabilities, build practical workflows, run pilots with business units, and use feedback and usage data to guide product decisions and investments. You will work closely with business unit leads and colleagues across AI Marketplace, Architecture & Engineering, Change, Security, Risk, and Legal to bring useful capabilities into practice within firm requirements.

Shape the Roadmap
  • Engage business units to understand practitioner workflows, identify opportunities for AI tools, and translate needs into clear use cases, workflows and product requirements.
  • Develop and maintain the AI tools roadmap with the Product Director, prioritizing tools, features, skills, and connectors (Claude Direct & MCPs) based on business value, user needs, effort, cost, and risk.
  • Track vendor roadmaps and releases, assessing their implications for A&M’s existing tools and future capability needs.
  • Translate agreed priorities into delivery plans, making dependencies, milestones, and decisions clear to stakeholders.
Evaluate and Launch Capabilities
  • Evaluate new tools, models, features, and connectors against defined A&M business needs, documenting their capabilities, use cases, limitations, expected costs, and value for A&M workflows.
  • Build hands‑on prototypes and reusable workflows to test practical applications and demonstrate what new capabilities can deliver.
  • Design and run time‑bound pilots with business units, using agreed success criteria and user feedback to recommend whether and how capabilities should scale.
  • Coordinate the required technical, Security, Risk, and Legal reviews, incorporating findings into rollout plans and recommendations
  • Lead launch planning with delivery and Change teams, establishing onboarding, communications, training, and support arrangements.
Drive Adoption and Value
  • Work with the Change team to shape enablement for approved capabilities through tailored demonstrations, training, guidance, and ongoing support.
  • Monitor adoption, usage, practitioner feedback, and evidence of business value; use findings to improve enablement and guide roadmap and investment decisions.
  • Manage license utilization and monitor consumption and spend, identifying opportunities to improve access, allocation, and cost efficiency.
  • Identify recurring adoption barriers and technical issues, coordinating resolution with support and engineering teams and translating systemic issues into product improvements.
  • Maintain clear records of evaluations, approved configurations and integrations, and rollout status. Improve the processes for evaluation, launch, and measurement as the portfolio grows.
Qualifications
Required
  • 5 - 10 years of experience in product delivery – product analyst, product ownership, product operations, business analysis, or a related role, with demonstrated responsibility for delivering enterprise technology capabilities.
  • Experience in product delivery - defining use cases, prioritizing requirements, coordinating stakeholders, and taking capabilities through pilot, rollout, and adoption.
  • Hands‑on experience building with AI tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cowork, and Cursor, as well as developing repeatable workflows using skills and Power Automate.
  • Strong working knowledge of major Enterprise AI platforms and how their capabilities, limitations, and costs affect product decisions.
  • Strong analytical and product operations skills, including defining and tracking product metrics and KPIs (adoption, usage, performance, and spend), building clear dashboards and reporting, and translating insights into recommendations that improve product outcomes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to create useful practitioner guidance and explain product decisions to technical and business audiences.
  • Strong delivery and coordination skills, with the ability to manage dependencies, maintain accurate documentation, and move work forward across a global organization.
Preferred
  • Experience in consulting or professional services
  • Familiarity with APIs, or Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations
  • Experience working with AI technology vendors
  • Working knowledge of enterprise security, risk and compliance processes
