Job summary

Purpose of the Job

Our client offers a suite of devices and tools that are used daily by billions and trusted by over 6 million businesses. Our client's Product Graphics team manages all on-product artwork across their hardware portfolio-including brand identity, repairability, and regulatory compliance. They partner closely with Industrial Design, Product Safety & Compliance, and Engineering to deliver seamless hardware experiences.

As a Product Graphics Program Manager, you will serve as the point of contact for end-to-end product graphics workflow, intake management, and project execution. You will bridge design and production to ensure visual quality, technical precision, and regulatory integrity across all physical product markings and labels. From receiving direction to driving strategy, you will establish operational rigor and cross-functional alignment from concept through mass production. This role requires exceptional planning, adaptability, and the ability to balance multiple complex programs across global teams.

This role is hybrid (3+ days a week onsite), based in Mountain View, CA.

Key Responsibilities

• Program Governance & Execution
  • Own and partner with client teams for end-to-end program life cycles across hardware development gates.
  • Track and manage the Product Graphics Worklog from creation to archive, proactively identifying risks, mitigations, and schedule dependencies.
  • Build and maintain single-source-of-truth program documentation, including Program Decks, Graphics trackers, DRI matrices, and CMF Process Sketchbooks.
  • Drive early technical readiness testing, such as laser mark feasibility and compliance alignment, ensuring timely reviews and client partner sign-offs.
• Cross-Functional Leadership & Communication
  • Act as the central operational hub between our client's Product Graphics Designers, Industrial Design (ID), CMF team, Hardware Engineering, Product Management, Compliance, and external manufacturing partners.
  • Maintain an active in-person presence to foster cross-team client relationships, align stakeholder expectations, and drive consensus during critical build gates.
  • Lead regular working sessions, track action items, and distribute clear, asynchronous program updates and status reports across global time zones.
  • Represent the client team in critical meetings to track actions, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Provide definitive resolution for program graphics decisions in the absence of cross-functional alignment.
• Process Strategy & Operational Excellence
  • Identify operational gaps in technical graphics workflows and build scalable, standardized frameworks to resolve bottlenecks.
  • Drive quarterly task planning, backlog prioritization, and long-term designer capacity and workload allocation.
  • Manage physical sample requests, digital asset allocation, and procurement needs to support testing and client executive reviews.

Knowledge, Skills + Experience

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or design-related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of program or project management experience in hardware, product graphics, CMF, or consumer electronics
• Experience managing hardware development lifecycles and collaborating with manufacturing partners

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven track record of driving cross-functional alignment across design, engineering, and compliance teams
• Deep technical understanding of manufacturing processes and capabilities, printing processes, and cosmetic finishing
• Strong organizational skills with proficiency in building clear decks, workflow trackers, and program frameworks
• Self-starter capable of driving direction, resolving ambiguities, and influencing cross-functional leadership without formal authority
• Ability to multitask, analyze opportunities, proactively solve problems and accomplish challenging objectives with minimal direction
• Effectively navigate and operate in a deadline-driven, rapidly changing work environment
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• Possesses a love of efficiency, the desire to produce a high-quality deliverable, and an ability to execute against multiple projects in a technical work environment with often uncertain circumstances

For New York and California applicants: The salary range for this position is $130,000 to $150,000 annually. Actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors and are unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, certifications and work location. This range may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.

The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus targets, benefits and/or other applicable incentives.
