Job summary

KARL STORZ North America is seeking a Product Evaluation Operator II for 2nd shift (Mon–Fri, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM) to evaluate equipment, instruments, and software for disposition decisions. You will leverage SAP, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance in a highly regulated medical device setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years in logistics, warehouse ops, manufacturing, returns processing, or similar.
• Experience with SAP or comparable ERP systems.
• Strong technical aptitude and product evaluation skills.
• Ability to follow controlled processes in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in a medical device or regulated setting.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate devices and software to determine disposition per work instructions.
• Execute SAP transactions to support returns, repairs, upgrades, downgrades, and scraps.
• Resolve routine issues and escalate non-standard cases as needed.
• Review configurations and supporting documents for accurate decisions.
• Identify discrepancies and communicate findings to the proper teams.
• Support Global KSRAPS and FCO processes with productivity and quality.
• Provide peer training and process guidance to teammates.
• Assist in creating and improving work instructions and visual aids.
• Participate in LEAN, 6S, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Cross-train in additional product lines and value streams.
• Work overtime as needed.
