Job summary

Draper in Cambridge, MA is seeking engineering students for Summer 2027 internship opportunities. You will work in the Product Engineering Division on a range of technical challenges, from DFx considerations to fabrication and assembly of prototype hardware, under guidance from experienced engineers.

Responsibilities include designing, testing, documenting requirements and changes, and collaborating with operators, technicians, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited engineering program (undergraduate or graduate).
• Experience with 3D CAD packages such as Creo and/or SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of machined parts and GD&T is preferred.
• US citizenship or eligibility for national security programs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and enhance engineering solutions for challenging problems.
• Implement, test, analyze and document results.
• Generate test reports with plots, tables and conclusions from data.
• Complete assignments to understand engineering processes and systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
