Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking a Product Engineering Intern to support profitability targets on assigned TI product lines through new product development, cost reduction, capacity expansion and yield enhancement projects. You’ll be involved in testing, characterization, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration across design, test engineering, quality engineering, and other groups.

You will participate in product lifecycle activities from definition through manufacturing and qualification,

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with lab equipment or test environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Testing and troubleshooting issues
  • Developing production and characterization test specifications
  • Creating and managing product documentation
  • Providing product development support, interfacing with design, test engineering, quality engineering, and other groups
  • Designing, debugging, and correlating test hardware and software
  • Designing interface and measurement circuits to make tester capabilities compatible with product definitions
  • Involvement in the entire lifecycle of assigned products including definition, qualification, manufacturing, cost optimization and quality
