Job summary

Maverick Power is seeking a Product Engineer whose primary role will be to liaise between manufacturing and design engineering. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of panelboards and switchboards and will handle responsibilities like reviewing designs, supporting manufacturing and field service teams, and troubleshooting issues that arise.

Qualified applicants should possess a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a relevant Electrical Technical School diploma with at least two years of experience in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of applicable Electrical Technical School OR Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering OR Military equivalent for 5 years.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment, 2 years minimum.
• Experience interpreting electrical schematic drawings.
• Knowledge of UL 891, UL 67, UL 1558, UL 508A.

Responsibilities

• Point of contact between production and engineering troubleshooting issues.
• Support Maverick’s manufacturing and field service teams to ensure proper implementation of designs.
• Review electrical designs using 3D CAD software for correctness.
