Job summary

H. T. PROF Group is seeking a Product Engineer in Charlotte, NC to bridge design concepts and manufacturing. You will own product data architecture, component sourcing strategy, and engineering change execution to enable scalable, high-quality products.

You will drive the outdoor electric patio heater initiative, designing robust BOMs, optimizing supplier networks, and managing critical releases to ensure readiness and supply chain resilience.

Qualifications

• Education in engineering (Bachelor’s or Associate’s).
• Experience in product or manufacturing engineering with data management.
• Hands-on experience structuring BOMs and managing part masters in ERP/PLM systems.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain multi-level BOMs from prototype to production, covering electrical, thermal, and mechanical assemblies.
• Lead ECN/ECO processes, manage revisions, configuration control and lifecycle transitions in ERP/PLM.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Manufacturing to ensure smooth handoffs and ongoing documentation.
