Job summary

NEWITY is seeking a Product Engineer to own end-to-end product features, from requirements to deployment. You will drive full-stack development, collaborate across cross-functional teams, and implement comprehensive testing to ensure quality across the digital lending platform serving 125,000+ business customers.

The role emphasizes independent work, strong problem-solving, and a proactive approach to leveraging AI tools and data-driven insights for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science,engineering, or related technical field.
• 3–5 years of software development experience with full-stack capabilities.
• Experience with modern web frameworks, APIs, and database technologies.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and manual QA processes.
• Interest in fintech and understanding of compliance requirements (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of product features from initial requirement to production deployment.
• Analyze and detail technical specifications based on business requirements and user needs.
• Design, develop, and maintain software solutions across web and API platforms.
• Create and execute comprehensive testing strategies including manual and automated approaches.
• Leverage AI tools and methodologies to enhance development and testing processes.
• Implement data collection, analysis, and reporting features to support business intelligence.
• Collaborate with design, sales, operations, and compliance teams to ensure feature success.
• Provide regular progress reports and technical documentation to stakeholders.
• Monitor and maintain existing features, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
• Stay current with industry best practices in software development, testing, and fintech technologies.
