Job summary

Pella Corporation is seeking motivated engineering students for our Product Engineering Internship in Ocala, Florida. The internship offers hands-on experience supporting product development and engineering initiatives through meaningful projects that contribute to quality, cost, and product performance objectives.

Interns work alongside experienced engineers and cross-functional teams while developing technical, analytical, and professional skills in a real-world environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or related scientific discipline.
• Strong academic standing.
• Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, or involvement through campus organizations, work experience, athletics, volunteer activities, or other experiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to learn new technologies, systems, and engineering tools.
• Ability to succeed in a collaborative, team-based environment.
• Previous internship or co-op experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering projects focused on quality, cost, performance, and product improvement
• Apply engineering principles and problem-solving techniques to assigned projects and tasks
• Partner with engineering and cross-functional teams to support business initiatives
• Utilize engineering tools, technologies, and processes to deliver project results
• Analyze data and communicate findings and recommendations
• Gain exposure to product development and engineering processes within the fenestration industry
• Develop technical, professional, and leadership skills through project ownership and collaboration
• All projects and assignments will be determined based on business needs and team priorities.
